Patented Fastening System for ABES Bicycle-stands*

PRINCIPLE:

BOROFIX is a fastening system in which a force-fit connection is achieved through the interaction of the bicycle-stand, clamping rosette and ground sleeve with a clamping wedge.
Clamping take place by firmly fixing the bicycle-stand, clamping rosette and ground sleeve to one another by tightening the clamping screw.
Result: The bicycle-stand sits in the ground sleeve without play and can be removed quickly at any time.

BASIC COMPONENTS OF THE BOROFIX FASTENING SYSTEM:

GROUND SLEEVE INCLUDING CLAMPING WEDGE (Fig. 1):

A flexible and at the same time stable fixation of the bicycle stand is ensured by concreting the ground sleeve flush with the ground.
In combination with the screw and clamping rosette, the clamping wedge pre-instal- led in the ground sleeve produces the clamping eff ect by tightening.
Standard: hex socket head screw. (Fig. 1a)
Alternatively: maximum protection against theft with ABES screw with drop-shaped drive

The bike-stand does not wobble and has no play.
